Goldfish Illnesses and Goldfish Diseases

Goldfish can live longer than most people think... The average lifespan of a goldfish is 10 years, the oldest goldfish is 43 years old, but because they are so easy to replace they seldom get the care they need to reach old age.

That's why it's important for a fish owner to keep an eye on his fish and learn about goldfish care. You should be able to recognize a sick goldfish and the symptoms of the most common goldfish diseases so you can treat them accordingly.

I would like to note that it is important to prevent diseases and that this is easily achieved by maintaining the water quality of your aquarium in good condition.
